They aren't very fast and the lack of breaks isn't a big deal because there is a decent amount of roll resistance. If you are worried about not having a break teach the child how to drag one skate behind. There was also a replacement part list that includes wheels at very fair prices. Would recommend these to beginners, probably not as an upgrade. |
