4.0 out of 5 stars simple and functional, December 21, 2010
This review is from: Bsb Speed Wash Bearing Cleaner (Sports)
I didn't have a problem with mine. It's a plastic jar (which is good) with an insert that holds the bearings and a screw-on cap. Take the shields off, slide eight bearings into the insert, screw on the cap, and swish. I used mine for years, occasionally letting the sediment settle out, pouring off the clean fluid, and then topping it off. Yes, if you leave it on its side for an extended period of time it will leak. I did this during a move and am picking up replacement fluid. Quick and easy.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY!, September 22, 2010
This review is from: Bsb Speed Wash Bearing Cleaner (Sports)
This was utter crap. It's NOT glass. Cap does not screw on tight. It came leaking in the box. It is fairly worthless how it feel apart. It is entirely flimsy. It is NOT worth the money. Amazon, you should not sell this product.

I have not tried Bones' one, but if you, really, really need something like this go for that instead. I just use a small glass jar now, and get acetone from the nail polish section of a supermarket... tho a high-purity rubbing alcohol might work too.

Don't over-wash bearings -- I recommend 4-6 times a year.
