Ever since I saw the quadline skates in Amazon I was very anxious about buying them but I was not sure since I live in Colombia and the risk of not getting parts here if I had any problems with them was a constant. But hey!!! They turned out to be really good, excellent product and very durable. I am 6 feet 2 inches and 190lbs and They work fine for me. I am learning to dance with them following the rollerdance Man on the web. I am so happy with them and the costumer service Lady was so helpful when I had some technical questions prior to receiving them. It's a ride everybody must take. Everyone I show this to loves them.As far as my review, here goes: First Impressions: 1. Made very well. I read somewhere about them not being made well.. it reminds me of the jerk we all know that has SOMETHING better.. knows something more.. does something different that is better... mostly full of it too. All I can say is that they ride very well. Very comfortable. And all I can do is see how long they last. But they dont look or feel cheap to me. 2. In addition to a safety helmet, I will also have elbow protection and knee protection AND might even strap on a pillow or two. These skates rock! They are fast. Too fast for my good since I am not a skater. One night I was ice skating and fell backwards and got concussed. Same will happen here so I have to have lame protection.... 3. I am thinking I might also buy the multi terrain version. I am thinking they might be somewhat slower? Might be better for me... then I can give... Read more |
