K2 Sports Men's F.I.T. 84 Boa Fitness 2012 Inline Skates (Black/Blue, 10)

Product Description

If you are skating as your primary workout activity, then the K2 F.I.T. 84 Inline Skate is the ideal skate for you. Incorporating BOA dialed in performance system, with the turn of dial, you can secure the proper fit. We were the first to use it on our Snowboard boots and now we bring the technology to our inline skates. It features V02 Alu frame, 84mm wheels and ILQ-7 bearings and is the perfect introduction to bigger wheels. The F.I.T. 84 naturally comes with 84mm wheels allowing for great speeds, depending on where you are skating, or your ability. K2's Softboot designs incorporate breathable, comfortable, and flexible materials that fit and function like a second skin while substantially reducing overall weight. The F.I.T. 84 is for the fitness skater who wants to experience the speed of an aluminum framed skate.A medium frame length that is both maneuverable and stable at speed. This rigid construction gives the skater better power transfer and better feel of the terrain. In 2002, TwinCam introduced a 6 ball design engineered specifically for inline skate usage. This design has proved to be the best inline bearings on the market due to its increased load rating. K2 has spent countless hours testing bearings and nothing we have tested rolls as smooth or fast as a TwinCam ILQ bearing.

  • K2 Softboot ?, the original, delivers unmatched comfort with the best fit on the market
  • A Die Cast Aluminum frame designed as the best of both worlds
  • NEW Stability Plus cuff that is lightweight, offering maximum support while remaining super lightweight and sculpted for speed and comfort

The BOA technology makes the boot adjustment perfect. the bearings absorbs lots of vibration making a confortable ride even on iregular surfaces. after about 40 minutes skating my feet were not soaring at all as with other skates. fully recommended.

These skates are so comfortable that after an hour of blading my feet feel just as good as when I put the them on. The Boa design is awesome and it makes putting the skates on and taking them off fast and easy and it seems pretty durable as well. The skates are pretty light and the soft boot is great, I definitely recommend these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Could not be happier with these skates !!, March 18, 2012
I have been skating for over 15 years. I am a good size guy at about 235lbs and these skates are plenty strong and durable for me to skate them hard. K2 skates have been without question the best skates I have ever used. These FIT8 4 BOA's are even better than I could have expected. They are as comfortable as a skate could possibly be and the BOA closure system is as quick and easy as humanly possible. I cannot imagine finding a better skate for comfort and smooth skating. I play roller hockey out on black top in these and also just free skate. I like that the 84 size wheels are still nimble enough for me to make quick turns for hockey but large enough to skate at good speeds while free skating. If you are looking for the best skate under $200... you just found it. They look great, fit great, skate great and again, I am so glad I went with the BOA closure system as it is so far superior to laces it will make you wonder why anyone would ever want anything different. You can put... Read more
