I bought these pads to replace a set of recreational rollerblading pads with little padding and no articulation. I have been working with a set of Pro-tec knee pads for years and am very happy with them, so I turned to Pro-tec for elbow pads, too. They're great. They're comfortable, have little slippage, and allow me to freely bend my elbows as much as I need to. The padding is nice and thick, but not restrictive. They cover a large area, too.
