I wear them under my snow pants no problem. they stay in place but aren't too tight nor restrictive. I'm pretty big, 6'3" 215#, and the large size was perfect. I like triple 8 products quite well. not sure how durable they are yet as I have only used them 6 times. no signs of wear yet.
