I'll have to send this back. They are not the type of skate for me. My ankles are too narrow for this skate. They include instructions for heat molding. What you're suppose to do is buy the skate a little too small, and then heat mold them to fit your feet. That way, the rigid little ankle braces in the shoe will be very snug on your ankle (A MUST!!) and the shoe will fit your foot. These ankle braces inside of the shoe are extremely strong, and probably made of medal. This makes it impossible for you to draw them in to make them tight enough, should you get a skate that's too large. You HAVE TO purchase them to fit very snuggly on your ankle, and follow the instructions for heatmolding to get a good fit for the rest of the foot. Any other way will not work.I WISH I HAD KNOWN ALL OF THIS BEFORE PLACING MY ORDER! There is nothing of this in the description. I have bony ankles and flat duck feet, and I don't think I would be able to get a skate from these Vanilla... Read more |
