I bought the gloves for riding my unicycle. I sprained my wrist once without gloves and it won't happen a second time. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful ![]() By Pettyfogger (Louisiana) - See all my reviews This review is from: Hillbilly Wrist Guard Gloves - Half Finger (Sports) I got these gloves because they were a combination of glove and wrist protection. Yesterday, while unicycling, I took a tumble and came straight down. No chance to roll out of the fall - just straight down. I took the full weight of the fall on my hands. If I hadn't of had the Hillbilly gloves on I would have snapped both wrists - no doubt. Great glove. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful ![]() By optimizeyourvideo (Boise) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Hillbilly Wrist Guard Gloves - Half Finger (Sports) These are the best made most durable wrist guards I have seen.Hillbilly makes some great products! I have tried a lot of wrist guards. These take the cake... better made gloves then any other on the market. The gloves themselves are for durability. These are perfectly designed for what they are designed to do... protect your hands and wrists from falls... Having said that please note that these are not durable to be used for downhill or power sliding on skateboards. Wrist guard plastic is softer and can wear out fast if dragged on cement constantly... but since these are not supposed to be used for that no problem... just wanted to mention that in case any of you oldschoolers are thinking about trying to use them for that :-) If you are into rollerblading or skateboarding where you are not doing a lot of grabs... these are for you. Even if you do crabs you can probably get used to these. Get them. |
