My first inline skates were bladerunner by rollerblade (nothng to do with the current model). All plastic with washable/removable bootie, three buckles - similar in design to Pro Line 900 - the main reason why I ordered one.Compared to the old bladerunner model, this skate is worse. Buckles are hard to adjust, ventilation is not as good and brake is not adjustable (only matters for those who use one). Bootie seems less breathable also. That said, it appears that over the years the market had become more "sophisticated". Features available on <$100 skate are now only available on >$200 models. Today what is offered as basic to intermediate skate is a "softboot" type which in my opinion is dangerous design. They are too flexible in the ankle and fail to support when needed the most ( like navigating curbs, pot holes, t-stopping). These skates could have been great, they would have been exactly what I had been searching for in a skate for sometime. The boot in these skates were much smaller then they should have been. I would have loved to kept them, however ordering another size was not an option, since they only had size 11. Therefore, I recommend if you order them and you were a size 10 the 11's should fit you well.
